Given an adjustable crescent wrench, which cross-sections would you use for different parts of the wrench?

Follow-Up Question: Is there an optimal orientation or direction when using the wrench to torque a hex head bolt? Why?

The long handle part of the wrench would undergo a bending load primarily, so you would use something like an I-section to increase the flexural stiffness there. Not too sure about the other sections though.

The greatest bending moment would be at the tip of the wrench where you interact with the part so you’d want the largest cross sectional area there. You also want the mass as far away from the bending axis as possible so an I-shape would be the most optimized but we dont need optimization for mass here because the amount of material used is not significant enough to warrant that sort of manufacturing concern.
